The 2020 Wizard Wrestling season is scheduled to begin on November 30th. More information will be posted in the upcoming weeks. Due to current conditions we do not know what the wrestling season will look like, but it is imperative we all remain focused and prepared. Wizard’s Alumni Brandon Bobe has offered to help virtually aid in our preparation for the upcoming season. Brandon is a decorated Wizard Alum with a wealth of experience and wrestling knowledge. Brandon will be sharing videos to help get our wrestlers in the right mindset and top shape before we hit the mats. Check out each post in our website video section. Enjoy the videos, and contact Brandon at if you have questions.
Thank you Brandon! GO WIZARDS!!

The Washingtonville Wizards Wrestling Banquet is cancelled. We will keep you posted with a rescheduled date when/if possible. Be safe and stay healthy! GO WIZARDS!!

Section 9 Banquet of Champions has been cancelled. Washingtonville, among other schools, are not permitted by their district to attend the event. Congratulations to 4 year Washingtonville Statistician Madison Garcia for winning the Scorekeeper of the Year Award! Madison has been an intricate part of our program, providing an abundance of support for our wrestlers throughout the years and lending her excellent vocals for the singing our national anthem before competitions. Well deserved Maddy! Coach Lee will be in contact with those who would have received award plaques at the event once school is back in session. Stay Healthy and be safe. GO WIZARDS!!

Wizard Wrestling end of the year banquet is scheduled for Sunday, March 29th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. The banquet will recognize Youth. Modified, Junior Varsity, and Varsity wrestlers. Please join us in wrapping up our season, recognize our season accomplishments, and establish off-season wrestling opportunities. We look forward to seeing you all there! GO WIZARDS!!

Washingtonville Wizard Wrestling Sophomore Captain, Andrew Marchese took 5th place at the NYSPHSAA State Championships. Marchese is the 4th Wizard Wrestler in school history to earn a spot on the podium at the State Tournament. He is also the first underclassmen in school history to accomplish the feat. Marchese won his final bout of the tournament by storming back, after being down 7-0, to win in overtime in thrilling fashion. Congratulations Drew for all the hard work you put in! The accomplishment was well earned! GO WIZARDS!!
